Best Customer Service Award 2017 in Kuwait & Islamic Banks

Boubyan Bank maintained its position in ranking for customer service in Kuwait; a fact which has been reinforced by receiving two awards from Service Hero, the international consumer-driven customer satisfaction index. The two awards were the “First Place in Customer Service” atop all economic sectors in Kuwait for the third time in addition to the “Best Islamic Bank Award in Customer Service” for the eighth year in a row since 2010.

Mechanism of the Award:

Service Hero is a unique concept since it is the only index in the Arab world which measures the quality of service while depending 100% on the votes of consumers. It relies mainly on gathering input from customers’ votes regarding the standard of service they receive on a scale of 10, while focusing on 8 criteria, namely, confidence in the product, service, speed, quality of the product, staff efficiency, value-for-money, location, contact center and the quality of the website. As per the annual practice, the winner companies were selected after implementing a firm protocol to verify the data; 19356 assessments were verified through electronic voting after verifying the veracity of the data.

Covered Sectors:

The 2017 customer service index assessment covered 15 sectors including cafés, family restaurants, takeaway restaurants, car service shops, brand new automotive dealerships, fashion stores, electronic showrooms, home furniture stores, conventional & Islamic banks, and internet service providers.

About the Awarding Entity:

The customer satisfaction index was first launched in 2010 to act as a neutral and credible standard to assess the service and customer satisfaction levels. It fully depends on customer ratings. Service Hero was established by a group of experienced professionals with the goal of determining the best service providers in the local market. This group is supported by an independent advisory body whose main tasks include reviewing the scientific basis adopted in such surveys and ensuring the accuracy of the results while guaranteeing that they reflect the opinions of consumers.


The main purpose of the award is to honor the outstanding service providers who excel in customer service against measuring the satisfaction of real customers with the level of services provided to them in addition to helping companies and establishments enhance the standards of services they provide.
