- All KD transactions are counted as local transactions.
- Euro and British pounds transactions are counted as local transactions.
- If the customer chooses to pay in KD while traveling abroad, these transactions will be counted as local transactions.
- Other currencies’ transactions not mentioned above, are counted as international transactions.

- Points calculations and reward are easier now, starting from KD 1, while previously it started from KD 100.
- Reward is up to 6% monthly, while previously it was 5%.
- High tier customers will receive an extra 1.5% unlimited reward points when spending KD 5,000 and above per month, while previously it was 1%.
- Rewards points will expire after 24 months of earning the points, including the points earned before January 21st, 2026.
- Additionally, customers can view points that will expire soon through the Boubyan Bank app.
The bank reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of Boubyan's Rewards Program.
